Community Health “Call to Action”

We are excited to invite you to join Renville County Public Health as they convene with community partners to set collective goals and action steps for our county’s top health priorities. Our focus will be on addressing mental well-being, substance use, and the needs of an aging population.

Renville County is hosting an in-person Call to Action meeting on Thursday, April 3, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Government Services Center in Olivia.

If you represent a community organization and cannot attend, please feel free to share this invitation with a colleague or anyone in the community who you feel could contribute to the discussion or play an active role in shaping the work plan.

Creating Community Consulting will also be joining us to provide training on Results-Based Accountability (RBA) and how to use this framework to advance health equity in planning and community development. As they put it: “A healthy community is a sustainable community, and communities can’t be sustainable without equity.”
