The Renville County Comprehensive Plan was adopted in June 2002 and revised in August 2010.
The Plan was initiated by the Renville County Board of Commissioners and developed by a task force composed of Renville County citizens, appointed and elected officials, and various agency staff. The Plan is a long-range vision intended to guide the growth and development of Renville County into the future. The Plan provides strategies to accomplish the vision in areas including land use, transportation, housing, community development, parks and recreation, natural resources, housing, and economic development. The Plan also establishes policy for Renville County rules and regulations, including the Zoning Ordinance, as well as a guide for long-term investments in our County’s infrastructure.
