ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: CSAH 22 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECTS
Renville County, Minnesota — Renville County Public Works announces upcoming road closures on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 22 for two bridge replacement projects. Construction is scheduled to begin May 29, 2026, with road closures beginning June 1, 2026. Work is expected to be complete by July 31, 2026.
SP 065-622-009 — Bridge 65K11 (Replacing Bridge 94005) Located on CSAH 22 approximately 5.4 miles northeast of Hector, MN, this project replaces the existing bridge over Buffalo Creek. Work includes grading and installation of a precast concrete box culvert. Bridge 65K11 is scheduled to be the first of the tow bridges replaced.
SP 065-622-010 — Bridge 65K10 (Replacing Bridge 94072) Located on CSAH 22 approximately 2.0 miles northeast of Hector, MN, this project replaces the existing bridge over Judicial Ditch #15. Work includes grading and installation of a precast concrete box culvert.
Road closures will be implemented at one project site at a time. The second location will remain open to traffic while work is underway at the active closure site. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the closure and should plan ahead for additional travel time.
Construction is scheduled to begin May 29, 2026, with road closures going into effect June 1, 2026. Work at both locations is expected to be complete by July 31, 2026.
