Proposed Property Tax Abatements

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Board of Commissioners for Renville County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at approximately 9:00 a.m., at the Renville County Government Services Center, located at 105 South 5th Street, Olivia, Minnesota, relating to the use of property tax abatement up to $149,999 to reimburse for project costs associated with the development of a warehouse and test facility for Becks Superior Hybrid Seeds, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.1812 to 469.1815, inclusive, as amended. The total amount of tax abatements will not exceed $149,999 collected over a period of 5 years, commencing with taxes payable 2027 and ending with taxes payable 2031. The following tax parcels are proposed to be included in the proposed tax abatement:
